2015 Virginia Specialty Food and Beverage Educational Conference

Concerntrak’s food safety compliance solutions received very positive reviews this week.

The Concerntrak team is just back from Newport News, Virginia after attending the 2015 Virginia Specialty Food and Beverage Educational Conference.  Meeting with Virginia food business owners provided us with added perspective to the needs of businesses of all sizes.

The conference was hosted by Virginia’s Specialty Food Advisory Committee (SFAC), in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and Virginia Tech’s Food Science and Technology Department.

ConcernTrak hosted a lunch immediately after the conference adjourned and presented: A New Approach to Food Safety and Traceability Solutions.

The Concerntrak team presented the latest food safety and traceability solutions to a packed room.

Solutions on the Right Trak

ConcernTrak’s systems address the FSMA requirements in an automated system, enabling companies to adapt to the changing landscape of food safety record keeping requirements.  Small and medium sized businesses are especially challenged by the cost of compliance. Concerntrak develop their systems with affordability and flexibility in mind.

The Concerntrak team was joined by our hardware partner, Alpha Systems Virginia, a top solutions provider for Honeywell.  Robert Cook and Joe Panella contributed greatly to the conversation on the technical side of implementation.

The reception to Concerntrak’s solutions was very positive!  Among the attendees were members of the food safety community in Virginia, both from government and academia.  Their positive responses were especially encouraging.

Kudos to the Concerntrak Team and all of our new acquaintances for making the 2015 Virginia Specialty Food and Beverage Educational Conference a great success!
